We have been going to the Rendezvous after the Fourth of July for 3 years now. It is a LOT of fun, I really love going to it. It is set up like it would of been, back at the time of the Oregon trail, (I think). There's always a row of tents set up as stores, where you can buy reproduction items from that time. There is also the camp, where every one sleeps in tents or tepees that look like they are from that era, cooks over fires, and participates in contests that would of been around back then.
One year, some men were practising for the Hawk and Knife throw, and let us all tag along. Kerri got a hawk for Christmas, and is pretty good.
