The Red, White & Blue: Parade & Park

Cousin Trevor, his Mom Karen, and Poppy

cousin Tori holding Mr.

Some of my favorite people! Megan's best friend Chloe (front seat) sitting by her dad (driving) with sister Caitlin (back seat)

My best friend Jessi's little sister Julie, who was in a play, thus the Indian maiden costume.

Waving to the fire trucks.

Step-cousins!

Tambri.  She goes to our church, and I went to school with her, as did Kerri.  And Mom went to school with her dad.  And her Grandma taught my mom almost all the way through school.  And her Grandpa taught me in high school, and Megan in Kindergarten.  And Meg went to school with her brother. Her Mom was in charge of the computers and yearbook at school. And her other grandma was my principle.  My grandma was her Dad's substitute teacher and classroom assistant. And, lastly, listening to her Father read Pat McMantus around the campfire is one of the highlights of my summer!

One of my favorite 'adopted' brothers! I seriously LOVE Jacob, but sometimes, he drives me NUTS!

This is Katy (purple shirt).  She is in my Sparks group.  I love her, she is such a sweetheart!

This is Steven.  He comes to Awana.  I had both his sisters in my Sparks group.  They are such an awesome family! Katy (above) is his cousin.

Josh, Kerri & Lauren

Poor Dad, he forgot his hat!

This is Abby, a friend of our neighbor Zoe.  Z is in the truck too, but on the other side.

This is Jacob, he goes to our church.

Kerri, Josh getting mad at me for taking their picture, and Lolo

Georgie and Leota, some very sweet ladied at our church.

My uncle Bill (hat) and his grandson Trevor (who is awesome!)

Yankee Doodle Dandy

Wow, that's a lot of candy!

In case any homesick Crescent Cityians were missing the 4th...

The Remax hot air baloon

the 4-H club always have a petting zoo. We know a lot of the kids from Awana, and church, so it's always fun to stop by and see them with their pets.  An added bonus; listening to all the 'city people' show the animals to their children.  "Look honey, it's a turkey.  That's like a bird." Really?! Like a bird?! Wow. What did they think their Thanksgiving diner was?  How can you not tell that a turkey is s bird?
